Four doulas is better than one!
Joyful Doula has expanded! We now have four amazing doulas ready to support our community.
What does this mean for you?
- Clients will still be paired with their "go-to" doula who will meet with them individually, help at their birth, and always be just a text away for questions
- You'll benefit from a hivemind of doula wisdom, as our team works together behind the scenes
- We now have more flexibility scheduling postpartum help exactly when you need it
*We have a new webpage in the works with information about these wonderful women. Stay tuned*
Sarah Doyle, LICSW, LCCE, CD(DONA), CLC
I'm Sarah, Auburn's OG joyful doula.
My doula career started with my passion for all things birth and babies and continued because of my love for new mothers.
Years ago, as I prepared for my pregnancy, I discovered the gap between the support that growing families need, and what they actually receive. I decided to combine my passion for newborns and their parents, with my skill set as a clinical social worker, to become a doula.
Now I bridge the knowledge and support gap so more families can have the experience they desire. Every parent deserves to feel prepared, heard, and confident. I’m honored to be Auburn's birth coach and baby-whisperer, making sure families receive the care they deserve.
A little about me...
When I decided to become a mother, I was a little too confident in my baby-whispering abilities – so fate (and the fertility specialist) got the last laugh by giving us twins!
Brandon and I are overjoyed (and overwhelmed) to be caring for our two-year-olds; Jocelyn the headstrong tiny dancer, and Elise the ever-singing bookworm.
You may run into us at Auburn's nature preserve, the brewery, practicing yoga, drinking matcha lattes, strolling around Auburn listening to audiobooks, making lists, painting, and playing board games.
